EESC Conference in Cyprus

The President of the ESC of Greece and AICESIS and Member of the EESC, Mr. Ioannis Paidas, participated in a high-level conference in Larnaca, under the auspices of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

The conference took place on 22 April 2026 and was entitled “Island of Resilience - Cyprus’s perspective on climate, sustainability and food security”.

During the conference, Mr. Paidas met with the Speaker of the Parliament of Cyprus and President of DISY, Mrs. Annita Dimitriou, and the Mayor of Larnaca, Mr. Andreas Vyras.
