The General Assembly of the Economic and Social Council of Greece (ESC) convened today, Friday, 11 September 2026, to elect its Vice-Presidents and the Members of its Executive Committee.
The following were elected Vice-Presidents of the ESC: Christos Ioannou (Group A), Ioannis Poupkos (Group B) and Konstantinos Bardas (Group C).

Mr Athanasios Ioannidis, President of the ESC, congratulated the newly elected Vice-Presidents and Members of the Executive Committee, stressing that he considers their support and active participation in the work of the Council over the coming years to be of particular importance. He underlined that their contribution will help ensure that the institution fulfils its constitutional role effectively and contributes to the progress and prosperity of our country.
