EU regions with the highest agricultural output

In 2023, the EU’s total agricultural output was valued at €537 billion.  

Data show that 5 regions in the EU, classified at level 2 of the nomenclature of territorial units for statistics (NUTS 2), have a total agricultural output value above €9 billion. The highest output value was in Andalucía, Spain (€16 billion), followed by Bretagne in France (€11 billion), Weser-Ems in Germany and Lombardia in Italy (€9.8 billion each), and Pays de la Loire in France (€9.3 billion).
