Thessaloniki, "Makedonia Palace"
The Economic and Social Council of Greece (ESCG) assumed the presidency of the International Association of Economic and Social Councils and Similar Institutions (AICESIS). Its President, Mr. Ioannis Paidas, was elected President of the Association for the next two years by unanimous vote.
On the morning of Friday, 30 January 2026, the AICESIS Board of Directors met in Thessaloniki, with delegations from twenty countries across four continents participating.
At noon, a workshop titled ‘Building Bridges for a Just Transition and Global Social Justice’ was held.
In the afternoon, Mr. Konstantinos Gkoulekas, Deputy Minister of the Interior (Sector of Macedonia and Thrace), welcomed the delegations at the Diekitirio.
