Το πρώτο τρίμηνο του 2021, το εποχικά προσαρμοσμένο ΑΕΠ μειώθηκε κατά 0,3% στην Ευρωζώνη και κατά 0,1% στην Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση (ΕΕ), σε σύγκριση με το προηγούμενο τρίμηνο.

Η Ιρλανδία (+7,8%) και η Κροατία (+5,8%) κατέγραψαν τις μεγαλύτερες αυξήσεις του ΑΕΠ σε σύγκριση με το προηγούμενο τρίμηνο, ακολουθούμενες από την Εσθονία (+4,8%) και την Ελλάδα (+4,4%). Οι μεγαλύτερες μειώσεις παρατηρήθηκαν στην Πορτογαλία (-3,3%) και τη Σλοβακία (-2,0%), ακολουθούμενες από τη Γερμανία (-1,8%) και τη Λετονία (-1,7%).
