Στο πλαίσιο του εορτασμού της 20ης επετείου από την ίδρυση του Οικονομικού και Κοινωνικού Συμβουλίου της Βουλγαρίας, κατόπιν πρόσκλησης της Πρόεδρού του κυρίας Zornitsa Roussinova, ο Πρόεδρος της Οικονομικής και Κοινωνικής Επιτροπής της Ελλάδος (Ο.Κ.Ε.) κ. Γιάννης Πάιδας συμμετείχε ως επίσημος ομιλητής σε ειδική εκδήλωση στη Σόφια, στις 8 Δεκεμβρίου 2023.

Στην ομιλία του ο Πρόεδρος της Ο.Κ.Ε. παρουσίασε τη συμβολή της Ευρωπαϊκής Οικονομικής και Κοινωνικής Επιτροπής και των εθνικών Οικονομικών και Κοινωνικών Συμβουλίων της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης στην ενδυνάμωση της δημοκρατίας στην Ευρώπη.
