Τον Ιούνιο του 2020, ένα μήνα που χαρακτηρίζεται από κάποια χαλάρωση των μέτρων περιορισμού της COVID-19 σε πολλά κράτη μέλη της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης (ΕΕ), η εποχικά προσαρμοσμένη βιομηχανική παραγωγή αυξήθηκε κατά 9,1% τόσο στην Ευρωζώνη, όσο και στην ΕΕ, σε σύγκριση με τον Μάιο του 2020, σύμφωνα με εκτιμήσεις της Eurostat.
Σε σύγκριση όμως με τον Ιούνιο του 2019, τον Ιούνιο του 2020 η βιομηχανική παραγωγή μειώθηκε κατά 12,3% στην Ευρωζώνη και κατά 11,6% στην ΕΕ.
