Το ποσοστό αποταμίευσης των νοικοκυριών στην Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση (ΕΕ) αυξήθηκε σημαντικά το τέταρτο τρίμηνο του 2020, ανεβαίνοντας +6,6 ποσοστιαίες μονάδες από ό,τι πριν από ένα χρόνο.

Ο κύριος λόγος για την ετήσια αύξηση είναι ότι η τελική καταναλωτική δαπάνη των νοικοκυριών ήταν 7,0% χαμηλότερη στην ΕΕ από ό,τι πριν από ένα χρόνο.
