Το τρίτο τρίμηνο του 2020, το ποσοστό κενών θέσεων εργασίας ήταν 1,7% τόσο στην Ευρωζώνη, όσο και στην Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση (ΕΕ), από 1,6% το προηγούμενο τρίμηνο και κάτω από το 2,2% το τρίτο τρίμηνο του 2019.

Μεταξύ των κρατών μελών για τα οποία υπάρχουν διαθέσιμα συγκρίσιμα στοιχεία, τα υψηλότερα ποσοστά κενών θέσεων εργασίας το τρίτο τρίμηνο του 2020 καταγράφηκαν στην Τσεχία (5,3%) και στο Βέλγιο (3,3%). Αντίθετα, τα χαμηλότερα ποσοστά παρατηρήθηκαν στην Ελλάδα (0,5%), καθώς και στην Πολωνία και την Πορτογαλία (0,7%).
