Μεταξύ του δεύτερου και του τρίτου τριμήνου του 2022, 3,1 εκατομμύρια άνεργοι στην Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση (23,4% του συνόλου των ανέργων το δεύτερο τρίμηνο του 2022) βρήκαν εργασία. Κατά τη διάρκεια αυτής της περιόδου, 6,8 εκατομμύρια (51,9%) παρέμειναν άνεργοι και 3,2 εκατομμύρια εκ των ανέργων (24,7%) να αποτελούν πλέον άτομα εκτός εργατικού δυναμικού.
