Το 2022, ο συνήθης εβδομαδιαίος χρόνος εργασίας για άτομα ηλικίας 20-64 ετών στην Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση (ΕΕ) ήταν κατά μέσο όρο 37,5 ώρες.

Είναι ορατές σημαντικές διαφορές μεταξύ των χωρών της ΕΕ. Οι μεγαλύτεροι εβδομαδιαίοι χρόνοι εργασίας καταγράφηκαν στην Ελλάδα (41,0 ώρες), την Πολωνία (40,4), τη Ρουμανία και τη Βουλγαρία (40,2).

Αντίθετα, η Ολλανδία είχε το μικρότερο εβδομαδιαίο χρόνο εργασίας (33,2 ώρες), ακολουθούμενη από τη Γερμανία (35,3) και τη Δανία (35,4).
